Absolutely! I believe that when everyone in a health care team plays to their strengths the patient benefits. I am happy to work alongside your health care providers to create a successful treatment plan that compliments your current strategies and brings you closer to reaching your health goals.
Does OHIP cover Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic Medicine is not covered through OHIP. However, a lot of benefit plans do cover Naturopathic Medicine. Familiarize yourself with your benefit plan to understand your coverage. If you do not have benefits you can still see a Naturopathic Doctor. Be aware of the costs and your budget and communicate any concerns or questions with your Naturopathic Doctor. I aim to be upfront and transparent with all costs to ensure there are no hidden expenses or surprises. I want you to feel excited and secure with your treatment plan.
Will my insurance cover Naturopathic Medicine?
More and more benefit plans are covering Naturopathic Medicine. Before your first appointment, I recommend contacting your benefit provider to understand your coverage. Providers may cover appointments, laboratory testing, or both. Being familiar with your benefit plan helps you budget accordingly and make informed choices that match your health and financial needs.
